The Cane Stop attachment for the Dero Decker™ is a cane-detectable extension to the Dero Decker’s lower trays to improve overall safety for people with visual impairments.
Why Add This?
The federal Americans with Disabilities Act includes standards for objects and environments that could reduce accessibility or safety for people with various impairments. The upper trays of the Dero Decker extend further out than those on the lower level, which could be considered a potential hazard to people with limited vision. Cane stops provide a 2″ high, cane-detectable extension to the lower trays of the bike rack.
